Happy New Year and Happy Friday! Welcome back to our weekly feature - Foto Friday – Where, When, Why (“FFWWW”)!
FFWWW is a forum for all of us to share our favorite travel photos and the stories behind them. Today, TravelWhimsy has selected a photo taken during our recent whirlwind weekend ski trip to Park City, Utah.
- Where: Park City, Utah (the Canyons Cabriolet lift)
- When: December 2012
- Why: What happens when you hit the slopes after a 10-year hiatus? Mr. Travelbypoints and I learned the answer firsthand when we took advantage of Salt Lake City’s phenomenal QuickStart program just a few weeks ago. Fortunately for us, we escaped with no broken bones but just a few slightly bruised egos from falling down one too many times when going down the bunny slopes (with age comes a greater appreciation for erring on the side of caution). It was a weekend filled with lots of laughter (at ourselves and each other), good food and a bit of adrenaline to keep the heart young. We even have the crazy notion to go back and try it again later this year.
