Foto Friday – Where, When, Why #3
Welcome back to our new weekly feature - Foto Friday – Where, When, Why (“FFWWW”)!
FFWWW is a forum for all of us to share our favorite travel photos and the stories behind them. Today, TravelWhimsy and I are excited to share another guest submission by Tara and Mike from the Kissing Tour.

- Where: The Avenue of the Giants, a world-famous scenic drive that stretches 31 miles parallel to Highway 101 in Northern California. It’s a 51,222-acre grove of redwoods.
- When: August 30, 2012 - one day before we got married in San Francisco
- Why: After spending a week in Gold Beach, OR with wonderful friends, we car toured our way through the Redwoods on Highway 101 to beautiful San Francisco. Why the tiara? Our friend in Gold Beach turned 50 and we celebrated with her! We can’t wait to go back and hike this awe-inspiring forest. Live big, kiss often!!
